Location: (McLean, Virginia)
We are looking for a Database Analyst to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position at our headquarters in McLean, VA. ECOMPEX is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified company that specializes in software development, document imaging, and coding for many large government organizations.
This position will be responsible for analyzing databases to determine how to maximize efficiency and minimize overhead. DBA experience is a plus but is not a requirement.
• Must be able to operate and migrate data from Oracle and MS SQL Server
• Must be able to analyze the database speed and extraction
• Experience analyzing database design
• Experience configuring system and Oracle initialization parameters for performance enhancement
• Must be able to implement and maintain database security
• Familiar with DB2
• Expert in SQL
• Create and maintain users and roles, as well as assign privileges
• Troubleshooting and providing user help
• Must have U.S. Citizenship
• Must pass a background check and be able to obtain a security clearance
