Location: (McLean, Virginia)
We are looking for a Software Test Manager to join our team. This is a permanent, full time position at our headquarters in McLean, VA. ECOMPEX is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified company that specializes in software development, document imaging and coding for many large government organizations.
• Manage the daily activities of the Software Testing Team. This team is responsible for testing new and existing document imaging and analysis applications. Must be able to implement efficient processes and procedures.
• Manage all testing activities for 6 week release cycles
• Develop Test Plans and Strategy
• Perform interviews and manage continued growth of the testing team
• Manage Test Lab with 10 test machines
• Manage Systems, Integration, and Performance testing cycle
• Generate testing metrics and communicate team progress to Project Manager
• Release Experience
• Perform hand-on testing as needed
• 3- 5 years experience as a Software test Manager or Test Lead. Experience in Document Imaging a plus but not required
• Experience in database, User interface (UI), and data processing
• Release Management
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience in Manual testing execution
• Experience with defect submission, tracking, and resolution
• Experience testing Java based applications
• Knowledge of basic Unix commands
• Some programming, Performance testing and/or previous testing document management solutions is a plus.
