Location: (McLean, Virginia)
We are looking for a Technical Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent, full time position at our headquarters in McLean, VA. ECOMPEX is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified company that specializes in software development, document imaging and coding for many large government organizations.
Responsible for production for imaging projects in a team environment. Ensure all operators perform to the highest level of their abilities. Provide tier 2 support to production staff and take on any technical issues that arise within the production process.
• Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Related Field of Study
• 1 – 3 years experience managing personnel and/or resources in an IT production environment.
• 5 + years technical experience in a production environment.
• Experience in personnel management.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL and Enterprise Manager.
• High Level Understanding of relational databases.
• Able to generate software requirements for Business Applications to be used in a production setting.
• Strong understanding of Operating Systems including but not limited to Windows Professional 2000/2003, Windows XP/XP Pro, Windows Vista/Vista Pro and Linux.
• Knowledgeable with DNS, DHCP, TCPIP, and Active Directory
• Any of the following certifications are a plus: MSCE, MCSA, MCDA, MCP, MCDA
• Must have a strong desire to advance as a Manager.
• Must be creative and possess excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to handle pressure to meet difficult deadlines and expected superior performance.
• Able to speak clearly, concisely, and confidently when addressing managers and staff.
• Must have excellent organizational skills
