Location: (McLean, Virginia)
We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our team. This is a permanent, full time position at our headquarters in McLean, VA. ECOMPEX is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified company that specializes in software development, document imaging and coding for many large government organizations.
The Technical Writer will create technical documents such as requirements documents, implementation documents, and reference guides. The Technical Writer must be able to work as part of a team and independently to author various technical documents. The candidate will work with technical members of the team to organize, edit, revise, format and peer review the technical documentation. The candidate must be team-oriented and results-driven and possess a positive attitude. The candidate must have the ability to read and interpret software developer release notes.
• Strong technical writing experience is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Must pass a background check
• Knowledge of MS Office Tool Suite
• Must have technical proficiency to convey concepts as well as provide documentation to the customer
