Mr.
Hubin Jiang has been President and CEO
of Ecompex, Inc., an information and knowledge management company,
since
1995.
With firm foundation and great interest in the areas of artificial intelligence, knowledge management, and content analysis, he departed in the early 90’s from his Ph.D. candidacy, and devoted to the applied technology development. Mr. Jiang is a pioneer developer in document imaging and management system, and applied artificial intelligence system. For over 20 years, he has set up proven track records of marked achievements and success in the area of information technology development and implementation.
Mr. Jiang was the co-inventor of a satellite remote sensing imagery system, the Maryland Image Visualization and Analysis System (MIVAS) and was the leader for research and development of CorpCast, an expert system with innovative self-learning capability. He has developed a neural network model for simulation of Human visual perception and a machine learning model for natural handwriting recognition. Mr. Jiang is one of the trail blazers in innovative technology development in the fields of document understanding, expert systems, content management, and document imaging. He holds over five patents and patents pending in the above-mentioned areas. Mr. Jiang is also an expert in software life cycle development and programming. He has developed Ecompex’s first imaging and scanning system, VersaScan®, which has been sold to numerous Fortune 500 companies and Government Agencies. For the past 13 years, Mr. Hubin Jiang, as a dedicated entrepreneur, has devoted himself to growing business by leading the marketing and sales forces, developing state-of-art technologies, and providing value-added services to customers’ total satisfaction. With
an advanced degree earned with a major in Imaging Science and Instrumentation,
Mr. Michael Thomas has
more than 30 years of experience in production imaging and records management
and
in the
analysis and use of imaging technology for image capturing, indexing,
metadata coding and warehousing, information storage and retrieval technologies
and systems.
As the former President of the Association for Image and
Information Management (AIIM), Mr. Thomas has earned a deserved reputation
as a leader and speaker for seminars and conferences in technology implementation
strategies, software and hardware decision-makings, industrial and
Federal
standards, and performance analysis.
Mr. Thomas has rich experiences managing a Federal Government Records
Center housing over 10 million folders or over 1 billion pages of records.
He has also conducted numerous projects requiring the design, specification,
implementation, management, and validation of computerized, document-based
storage and retrieval systems. These systems have involved electronic
imaging, microfilming, media digitization and conversion, applications
software for system indexing, and high volume document conversion and
hosting. As a scientist in applied microfilm technology, Mr. Thomas has
been performing quality inspections for microfilming and microfilm digitization
for commercial, industrial and federal government agencies for over 30
years.

B.S. Economics and Business
Mr. Carlos Videla brings over 30 years of marketing experience, both
in the private and public sectors.
Prior to his appointment with Ecompex, Mr. Videla worked for 17 years
at Xerox Corporation in various marketing capacities, including sales
and management training for the Latin American Division. Subsequently,
Mr. Videla worked for Datapoint Corporation dealing with the federal
I.T.
sector, and has written a book on Federal Sales. Most recently, he
was the founder and CEO of Videla International, a successful 8(a)
Federal I.T. services company he founded in 1990. He is currently an
advisor to National Capital Companies and a Vice President of Ecompex.
Mr. Videla is a graduate of the University of Maryland, has been a
guest lecturer on federal marketing at the School of Business, and
is currently involved with the Alumni Program. He was named Mentor
of the Year for 2005.
Mr. Videla is fluent in Spanish and has traveled extensively throughout
Latin America for business purposes.

Mrs.
Fanyang Jiang has
more than 10 years experience in both accounting and financial fields.
She joined the Ecompex team with a vision. She combined her technology
background with her financial skills to successfully build a unique infrastructure
in the Ecompex accounting department. She has applied her scientific
methodology into forming the company’s administrative operation team
and she has helped build the company to today’s multi-million dollar
revenue with zero finance. Mrs. Jiang is constantly working on growing
the company to next high level of financial wealth.

Mr.
Darrell J. Oyer's resume includes a
Deloitte & Touche
Partner; nine years with Deloitte & Touche, Touche Ross and Peat Marwick.
He worked at the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), with nearly 20
years experience in various capacities. He was the DCAA Headquarters
program manager, specializing in quantitative and computer auditing techniques,
statistical sampling, judicial and cost accounting decisions and cost
accounting standards. He was also DCAA Assistant Regional Director in
the Atlanta Region, DCAA Assistant Director; Operations and Professional
Development, Resources, and Policy and Plans. Mr. Oyer has represented
the U.S. Government in multinational procurement audits.
Mr. Oyer authors the chapters on contract cost principles in the text "Accounting
for Government Contracts-Federal Acquisition Regulation" (1985), and
is the author of the book “Pricing and Cost Accounting-A Handbook for
Government Contractors” and authored the chapter on Activity Based
Costing in government Contracts for the "Handbook of Cost Management" (1990).
He wrote the lead article in the initial publication of "Government
Contract Costs, Pricing, and Accounting Report" (1989) on the subject
of Uncompensated Overtime and has contributed numerous articles since
then. He co-authored the Deloitte & Touche "A Guide to Truth-In-Negotiations
(Defective Pricing, PL 87?653" (1986) and "Basic Cost Accounting Considerations
in Government Contracting" (1989). Mr. Oyer is editor of the discontinued
newsletter “Contract Pricing Advisor.”
Mr. Oyer is also a frequent
speaker and lecturer on contracting subjects and has taught graduate
level
accounting courses for the University of Houston-Clear Lake and Central
Michigan University.

B.Sc. Graphic Design / Computer Science minor Mr. Jesse Lake has many years experience in the design, communications,
and marketing field including graphic design, web design, multimedia
design, and identity design. He also has extensive digital video and
movie production capabilities. His experience communicating ideas and
messages through the use of typography, advertisements, posters, brochures,
web sites, booklets, mailers, and photography has made him become the
creative force which pushes Ecompex's success to the limit. Mr. Lake's
communication designs have been recognized by having winning designs
in Multimedia Festivals in 2003, 2004 and 2006.
As Ecompex's Director of Marketing, Mr. Lake develops creative marketing
strategies and materials to build and maintain Ecompex's image and
identity - which represents a commitment to quality services and innovative
technologies.
