To assist in the processing of the Department of Veterans Affair's data, ECOMPEX proposed the use of our own uniquely developed software that could be supported offline at no additional cost to VA. The use of ECOMPEX’s proprietary software cut costs dramatically and greatly improved data processing efficiency and accuracy.
ECOMPEX technical staff maintains the on site telecommunications systems, computer hardware, and software. The technical staff is also responsible for ensuring that the ECOMPEX facility functions smoothly, receives transmissions from field facilities, and that it is in synchronization with the system. When problems are identified, ECOMPEX works closely with VA personnel to resolve issues. ECOMPEX provides a “trouble line” for facilities to call when encountering problems transmitting data. ECOMPEX provides an immediate “live” response to these inquiries during business hours and takes action within 30 minutes to resolve the situation.
