McLean, VA - November 4, 2008 - Mr. Hubin Jiang, President & CEO of ECOMPEX, Inc. has been selected by The Minority Enterprise Executive Council (MEE Council) as one of the 50 Most Powerful Minority CEO's in the United States. Through hard work, dedication, and a clear vision, Mr. Jiang has had achievements and success in the areas of information technology development, management, and implementation for over 20 years. Under Mr. Jiang's leadership, his company - ECOMPEX Inc., has been growing tremendously over the past 10 years, widely recognized by customers from the Federal Government for their innovative technologies and quality information management services.
Mr. Hubin Jiang will be honored at the very prestigious MEE Council awards gala Thursday, December 4, 2008. The theme: "Celebrating Outstanding Leadership and Success." This black tie event will be honoring the top fifty minority and women business leaders across the country. Invited speakers include: Robert L. Johnson, President & CEO, RLJ Development LLC; Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick; and Congressman Elijah Cummings. The Gala guests will include Fortune 500 companies; political and community leaders; government officials; corporate executives; and members of the media.
A portion of the proceeds from the awards gala will be donated to the non-profit organization, Communities In Schools (www.cisnet.org). Communities In Schools is a national 30-year organization that offers over two million students per year the opportunity to have a safe learning environment; marketable skills after graduation; and the ability to give back to their community.
