Benjamin Spingarn: A True American Success Story

VA -- Dedication, enthusiasm, passion, loyalty – These
traits have been the driving force behind Benjamin Spingarn’s success
here at Ecompex, Inc. Just two short years ago, Mr. Spingarn started on the
floor as a Labeling Operator, now he has advanced through the company to become
the Acting Assistant Director of Quality Audit and Enforcement for the company.
While he was a labeling operator, Mr. Spingarn strived to learn all that he
could about the different aspects of the imaging and coding process. He worked
long hours and strived for excellence. All his hard worked paid off by means
of constant promotions – first to team leader, then technical supervisor,
then project manager, then Acting Assistant Director of Quality Audit and
Enforcement. The impressive accomplishments of Mr. Spingarn has been admired
by his fellow team members and he has been recognized by receiving the Ecompex
Q3 Award in 2004 and the Technology Innovation Award in 2005.
Most recently, Mr. Spingarn was certified by BSI Management Systems as an ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor. He attended a 40-Hour course in January and successfully completed his continuous evaluation and written examination for the ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor course. As Lead Auditor, Mr. Spingarn will help Ecompex achieve continuous performance improvement and provide ongoing internal validation that will enable Ecompex to continually renew and advance its strategies, operations, and service levels.
“My objective as Acting Assistant Director of Quality Audit and Enforcement is to reduce the cost of poor quality by at least 50% every year. I also want to introduce a genuine tracking system that will accurately track the company’s cost of poor quality. I am going to make every effort to elevate our quality to a higher level with the support and guidance of the President and CEO, Mr. Hubin Jiang.”
